Description
During the great depression the Lepine Family left Quebec and moved to Mud City located in Lamoille County in the foothills of the Northeast Kingdom. The family farmed, lived off the land and instilled a love for Vermont in their girls - Gert, Jeanette and Therese. All three returned to Mount Sterling Farm where they raised their Jersey cows and continued the agricultural tradition.
