When an uncharacteristic lapse in judgment leaves Emily paralyzed to stop a classmate with developmental disabilities from being attacked, Emily and a football player who also witnessed the crime are sentenced to community service. But helping those at the center for disabled people does little to assuage their guilt over not helping the one girl who needed them most.
